The Triangle Healthcare Executives' Forum (THEF) is a local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is authorized to award continuing education credits for our programs.  Our association was formed in 1980 and has been gaining momentum ever since.

Our membership is comprised of over 400 local healthcare executives interested in meeting healthcare professionals and sharing their experience and solutions to use in their day-to-day business environment.  Current members work in a variety of settings including hospitals, IPA's, health plans, consulting firms, pharmaceutical companies, technology development firms, nursing homes, state/county health departments, universities, and other areas of the healthcare industry.  

THEF can benefit your personal and professional career development!  It provides you the opportunity to build relationships, find a mentor, receive continuing education credits, network, and socialize with peers and leaders in the healthcare industry.  There are several networking events, seminars and conferences that are sponsored by THEF each year.  See the EVENTS section for detailed information.

We encourage new members from outside traditional hospital employers, such as insurers/managed care organizations, consulting groups, group practice management, current students of health administration programs, etc. THEFs' primary membership focus is healthcare professionals and students who live or work in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area.   

All members are encouraged to attend our monthly Executive Committee meetings.

Effective January 1, 2008, all ACHE affiliates located within the chapter's assigned geographic territory are automatically members of the chapter as a benefit of being an ACHE affiliate. Only ACHE affiliates are eligible to hold membership in the chapter. To become an ACHE member please visit the website at www.ache.org.
